Judith has a multicultural client base and has worked in the Middle East. She is working in the speciality of Bariatrics and is Allergan Academy Trained in 2009 to perform Gastric Band Adjustments on a variety of different
makes of bands. Since 2009 she has worked continuously, and have adjusted hundreds of gastric bands as well as giving nursing care and support alongside medical specialists. Judith had had Bariatric Surgery herself so she feels well placed to support and advise. She holds a Nurse Prescriber Qualification to complement my practice. She is also registered to work in the Republic of Ireland as well as the UK, and hold public as well as individual indemnity. Further to this Judith holds band adjustment and support clinics in Cork for our Irish patients on a regular basis in addition to the nationwide service that she offers in the UK. She has recently revalidated with the NMC.
Judith is presently working for International Surgery Group on a self-employed basis supporting clients pre and post operative Bariatric surgery. Previously she was Clinical Nurse Advisor to a Surgical Weight Loss UK based company. This enjoyable role inspired her to set up her own business supporting Bariatric patients, where she conducts clinics around the UK and Eire.
Judith loves the work she does, as giving good consistent care and support coupled with expert clinical skills can help people to empower and change their lives for the good. She has been told that she has empathy, tact and diplomacy in confidential settings of care, acquired through a diverse career with cultural diversity, in the support of Bariatric Patients.
